Arriving to this remote part of Costa Rica is actually a very simple process. Modern travel has made it quite accessible!

You will fly from Costa Rica's San Jose International Airport (Juan Santamaria) to Samara, just a 1/2 hour plane ride. We will then pick you up at the airport and take you directly to our retreat site. It is easy and convenient, saving you many hours of bus or car time. (Of course you may take the bus or rent a car if you so desire.)

We recommend you check for local flight availability on Sansa Airlines (Costa Rica's small internal airline) on their web site flysansa.com. Do this before you buy your international ticket and leave yourself at least 2 hours to go through customs and to walk next door to the Sansa terminal. Round trip tickets to Samara cost about $142.
