We offer 10-14 day inclusive workshop packages. CreArte, Retreat for the Arts, is a place to come to be inspired, relaxed and warmed. Our down to earth art workshops in Costa Rica provide for the perfect winter or summer break.

Prices- Our 2007 10 day package is $1695 for Painting the Tropics Watercolor Workshop. Price include double occupancy lodging (single room available with supplement), two meals a day, workshop instruction/guidance, easels, a local tour and ground transportation for group excursions including arrival and departure from the local airport in Carrillo. Our workshop sessions include a guest artist, drawn from a talented pool from Costa Rica and abroad. The January retreat guest artist to be announced shortly. Focus will be on the life around us - Costa Rica!

Non-Workshop Attending Companions- Those interested in coming to CreArte, but not participating in our workshops are most welcome. The non-workshop attending companion rate is $1495 for the 10-day retreat.

Single Supplement- If you would like your own room there is an additional charge of $350.

Not Included- Airfare, arrival and departure taxes, meals other than at the hotel, and individual art supplies are the responsibility of each guest. Recreational and other extracurricular activities also not included.

Themes- The workshop themes will vary but all will include seminars on creativity, painting and collaboration. For more detailed information on our programs, click here. This will enable you to choose the session that interests you most.

Spanish- You will be in Costa Rica, where Spanish is the spoken language. This offers a wonderful opportunity to practice your language skills. We offer a special package which includes 5 days of full immersion Spanish through Intercultura, renowned Spanish Institute and Cultural Center. The cost is $350 and includes lodging and meals. Intercultura has a campus in Heredia (near San Jose and the airport) and also one in Samara, a beautiful beach town. Dates of Spanish study TBA.
